Have you ever opened an app expecting nothing special and then been completely surprised?
That's exactly what happened to me today.
I recently recharged my Jio SIM with an 18-month plan. Like most people, I simply activated the plan and continued using my phone. I wasn't expecting any hidden benefits.
Today, I decided to open Google Flow, Google's AI filmmaking platform.

The moment I logged in, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
I was genuinely shocked. It looked like I originally had around 40,000 credits, and since I had already experimented with Flow a little, about 400 credits had already been used.
What is Google Flow?
Google Flow is Google's AI-powered video creation platform that lets you generate cinematic videos using AI. It is built using Google's latest AI models, including Gemini and Veo, and is designed for creators, filmmakers, marketers, and anyone interested in AI-generated videos.

Why Did I Receive 40,000 Credits?
Honestly... I don't know. I never claimed any promotional code or purchased extra credits. I simply logged into my Google account and noticed the credits were already there.
The only thing I can think of is that I recently activated the Jio 18-month recharge offer. However, Google hasn't shown me any notification confirming this connection.
How to Check Your Account
- Open Google Flow
- Sign in using your Google Account.
- Click your profile picture.
- Look for your credit balance.
I Couldn't Find Any Expiry Date
I couldn't find an expiry date, but that doesn't mean they never expire. If you have these credits, I recommend using them while they are available.
- Based on personal experience only.
- I cannot confirm the credits are tied to Jio.
- No official confirmation from Google has been received.
