Hyundai's long-awaited Ioniq 6 electric sedan made its US debut at the LA Auto Show on Wednesday. The car, which was first revealed in November 2021, is based on Hyundai's E-GMP platform and will be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.

The Ioniq 6 has a sleek, aerodynamic design that is reminiscent of the Porsche Taycan. It features a long wheelbase and short overhangs, as well as a sloping roofline that helps to reduce drag. The Ioniq 6 will be available with two battery sizes: a standard 77.4-kWh battery and a larger 95.0-kWh battery. The standard battery will offer a range of up to 361 miles, while the larger battery will offer a range of up to 426 miles.

Hyundai has not yet announced pricing for the Ioniq 6, but it is expected to start at around $40,000. The car is scheduled to go on sale in the US in early 2023.
